Joel Bower – CEO

For the last twelve years, Joel has mastered the most powerful marketing strategies and techniques available. From large direct mail advertising to industry-dominating Google Adwords campaigns, Joel is always up-to-date on the newest trends and research in the marketing and business development space. He is an expert in the latest internet marketing tactics used by multi-million dollar companies and has used those tactics with exponential success with a variety of companies. As the previous Director of Marketing for a Reno-based eye tracking company, Eye-Com, and a current consultant for a local business incubator, Joel has a lot of experience helping start-up companies in Northern Nevada get their marketing up and running. As the co-founder of MJ Homesellers, a buyer-focused real-estate team, Joel also has experience developing a strong, fluent business system.

Matt Carter – COO

Matt worked for a Fortune 500 distribution firm before running several mid-sized firms. He has led multiple teams throughout an economic recession. He has several vital skills that have helped him succeed in these ventures, such as re-organization, program efficiency, overall systems analysis, cost saving measures, program leadership, program start-up, and policy development. Matt also has a wealth of experience in building sales teams and logistics behind systemizing and managing sales and marketing efforts, gained both through his years with the Fortune 500 company and those working on his own.

Chris Shaffer – CMO

A graduate from The Pennsylvania State University, Chris has worked in public relations, marketing, and search engine optimization (SEO) tactics for over 7 years. He has also returned to his alma mater to educate current students on these topics as a leading alumni professional. After graduating with a degree in Public Relations, Chris has specialized in marketing and public relations for small and medium businesses. He is results-oriented and is truly dedicated to ensuring every campaign he is a part of moves forward and gets the job done.

Mary Lintz – CCO

For over five years, Mary has worked in a variety of fields, from news to catalogs, marketing to content writing. Though she specializes in creative fiction, Mary found phenomenal success in copywriting, which led to her partnership in Greener Grass. Mary’s aptitude for learning and passion for writing makes it easy for her to quickly adapt to any given situation and create compelling and driven copy that connects with her audience. Creative writing has structured her copy by allowing her to understand different markets as well as the appropriate vernacular with which to connect to them.

Edgar Sarmiento – CFO

Edgar attended the University of California, Irvine, where he majored in social ecology and criminology. He also has an extensive background in finance, investigations, and writing, which has made him a multi-purpose asset to the Greener Grass team. Edgar’s passion for learning and writing that is particularly powerful when it comes ot researching and producing powerful pieces for blogging, news, and articles. Edgar also serves as GGM’s project manager, applying his analytical skills to ensure that projects are completed on time and to spec.
